At Wild Roots Adventures, we believe that the natural world is the richest classroom of all. Our mission is to nurture curiosity, confidence, and connection through immersive, play-based learning in the great outdoors. We offer children and families a space to slow down, dig deep, and grow wild — together. Rooted in respect for the land and guided by wonder, our programs empower children to explore, take healthy risks, and build lifelong relationships with nature, themselves, and each other.
My Story
Hi, I’m Dani, and I’m so glad you’re here!
Wild Roots Adventures grew out of something deeply personal: my own longing for slower days, barefoot mornings, and the kind of childhood that lives in the dirt, the trees, and the stories we carry home in our pockets.
I’ve always felt most like myself outside — in the rustle of leaves, the hush of pine needles underfoot, the quiet wonder of wild places. After becoming a parent, I saw firsthand how magical the outdoors could be for little ones too: how it calms, inspires, and invites curiosity in ways that no classroom ever could.
That’s what led me here — blending my educational background with a love of play, nature, and community. I wanted to create something that felt like a deep breath for families, a place where kids could be wild and free and completely themselves.
At Wild Roots, we don’t worry about mud on pants or twigs in hair. We celebrate them. Because in between the tree climbing and puddle jumping, kids are learning resilience, creativity, confidence — and maybe most importantly, a lifelong love of the earth and all its wonder.
